1- Ensure the relevance of research results to the actual conditions of agricultural holdings.
2- Implement specific programs to apply research results and adapt them to the regional characteristics of different agricultural zones.
3- Conduct extension activities aimed at ensuring rapid and effective technology transfer.
4- Organize the dissemination of the most effective production techniques, in collaboration with various research institutions, and establish a database.
5- Provide training and retraining to support agricultural development.

Specific Missions of the Citrus Technical Center

1- Contribute to integrated pest management against Mediterranean fruit fly by producing and releasing beneficial insects and sterile males of the fruit fly in citrus orchards.
2- Contribute to production diversification by introducing new varieties, acquiring high-yield local varieties, sanitizing and stabilizing them to improve productivity and ensure better income for farmers.
